17.11.2004 - Rochdale City Council, don't seem to be aware of the Programme. Gave me the contact of Kay Maloney, who oversees the Neighbourhood Renewal Programme, but could not give me more detail than to say that 5 neighbourhoods in the inner Rochdale area have been marked as potential. She gave me the dtails of Donna Bowler, who has more inside info on the Pathfinder ADF(Area Development Frameworks) for that area. She gave me the contact number for David Broom, who is head of the Residents Assoc in those 5 neighbourhoods. David Broom will email me the contact details of the Groups in the 5 neighbourhoods.
26.11.2004 - Using the process of research, analysis and consultation already described, the first four neighbourhoods for physical intervention were agreed to be Wardleworth/Hamer and Langley in Rochdale borough and Werneth/Freehold and Derker in Oldham.
The following information summarises the problem in each of these neighbourhoods and our proposals for action to bring about improvements.
